Edward Aldrich’s love of painting birds and beasts remains unabated after four decades of success. Ed’s range of wild animal subjects continues to expand. He creates animal portraits that cause one to pause and experience the essence of the animal. Collectors will be drawn to the continuing depth of Aldrich’s work. As Ed explains, he "explores how a random brush stroke can create a sense of reality, giving his paintings an energy that can make it look so real and painterly at the same time. “
